Licensed by the Federal Communications Commission as a Non-Commercial Educational station, KLUX is prohibited from selling airtime. Following recognized industry guidelines we do, however, broadcast on-air acknowledgements thanking those businesses and individuals who commit to underwriting our daily operational costs.

Underwriting agreements are available for periods of six months or twelve months. Our underwriters believe in the positive support that KLUX provides to the community and KLUX listeners understand the important role played by our underwriters and patronize those businesses who demonstrate a commitment to a radio station that is more than good music, it's "GOOD COMPANY."

Current underwriters encompass all types of businesses, from banks and refineries to insurance companies and realtors. The management of these companies represents a variety of faiths but all are committed to family values and the positive approach of KLUX.
